Carrie was born on December 26, 1953 in Jasper Texas to her proud parents Shirley May and
Roosevelt Vercher. Carrie and her Family moved to Fresno California, where she
completed her primary education and she attended Fresno City College. She
enjoyed large gatherings with family and friends; her home was always filled
with laughter and outstanding home cooked meals. Carrie had a big heart and she
made it her mission to make people feel comfortable in her presence.

In 1965, Carrie met the love of her life Mr. Ernest Lee Henderson, Carrie and Ernest nurtured a
beautiful relationship for over 55 years. Carrie was a devoted mother to her
three children Evette, Ernest Jr. (Big O), and Tina. Carrie was a devoted
mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her children, grand-children, and
great-grandchildren. She was also a mother figure to her nieces, nephews, and
the neighborhood children. During her spare-time you can find Carrie listening
to old school jams dancing or watching her favorite show \"The Young and
the Restless\".

Carrie is preceded in death by her Mother and Father, Sister Letha, and three Brothers: James,
Roosevelt (Tea), and Mickey.

Carrie is survived by her beloved husband Ernest, her three children: Evette, Ernest Jr., and Tina.
Grand-Children; Marvin Eugene Cooper (Wife Darcus Cooper), Ragzaique Henderson,
Tatiana Gibson, Ernest Lee Henderson III, Deontray Henderson, China Henderson,
Rasheed Henderson, Keontay Pitts, Briana Hale, LaRonte Burns and eight and a half
Great-Grandchildren.

Carrie also leaves to cherish her memories Seven Siblings: James, Ada, Wayne, Evelyn, Robert, Donnie, Ronnie. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
