Carolyn L. Johnson-White was the youngest of three kids born to Angela Johnson and the second child to Lee Virgil Cooper. She was born on May 24th, 1975 in Chicago IL. Her mother and paternal Grandmother, Mother Johnie Mae Solonia Council, proceeded her in death.
Carolyn L. Johnson-White was raised on the Southside of Chicago, IL. She attended Horace Mann, Andrew Carnegie, and Hyde Park Career Academy.
Carolyn and the love of her life Duane White Sr. were united in holy matrimony on November 21st, 1998. To this union, five kids were shared; Monika' Tanquisha, Duane White Jr., Shanetta, and Antonio.
Carolyn worked in Environmental Service, at Forest Edge Nursing Home for six years. She loved and cared for her patients as if they were her family. After leaving Forest Edge and leaving Chicago Carolyn became a devoted housewife.
Carolyn accepted Jesus Christ at an early age, at Christ Temple Cathedral Church Of Christ Holiness, under the leadership of Bishop McGinnis.
Her love for her family, husband and children was obvious to everyone that she met. She loved to listen to all genres of music, dancing, laughing, having big family parties, playing cards, and just being the life of the party. She enjoyed playing around and being silly with her grandsons, nieces, Daphne & Desiree; nephew David, "Baby" DJ, and her "granny-cousin" Landyn.
On Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at approximately 6:08 P.M., Carolyn departed her life. She leaves to cherish her memory her spouse Duane White Sr., three daughters Monika, Tanquisha, and Shanetta. Two sons; Duane Jr., and Antonio; Six grandchildren: Chrishawn, Devin, Quame, Talihina, Monika, and Jalihia. Her mom Angela Johnson; grandmother Rachel Johnson; sister Lydia (Maurice) Smith; brother Patrick (Shenika) Cooper; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
