Carolyn Ann Henderson was called home to the Lord on October 16, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her family and under the care of Spanish Oaks Hospice Care. Carolyn was born May 9th 1958 in Melfa, VA. Carolyn Henderson lived in Keller, VA well into her teenage years. She worked at Perdue Farms for many years. Where she met and married her husband of 40 years, Bobby Lee Henderson, Sr. and they had two children; a daughter, Montyneke Henderson-Bell and a son, Bobbie Henderson, Jr. After working at Perdue for many years she wanted to do something with helping people, so she attended Eastern Shore Community College where she gained her GED and made the Dean's List. Shortly there after she gained her licensed to become a PCA (Personal Care Aide) until her health started to decline. She then moved to Hinesville, GA with her daughter and son. Carolyn's favorite football team was the Carolina Panthers. Her favorite color was purple. Some of her favorite sayings were " yea right","oh really", and "whatever".

She leaves behind to celebrate her life: mother, Loretta Carter of Hinesville,GA.; husband, Bobby Henderson, Sr of Norfolk,VA; two children: Bobbie Henderson, Jr and Montyneke Henderson-Bell (Lester Bell) of Hinesville, GA. Her sisters: Sandra Hill of Onancock, VA, Carolyn Jean Garrison of Wachapreague, VA; Valerie Carter Roberts (Anthony Roberts) of Miami, FL; Susan Ejimofor of MD; brothers: Julius Hill of MD ; Randy Hill of Burlington, NC; step-sisters: Joycelyn Bailey of Machipongo, VA; Stephanie Hill of MacDonald, GA. and one sister in law: Shirlean Stratton (Irving Stratton) of Cheriton, VA.; brother in law: Johnnie Henderson of Frederick, MD.; Adam Henderson of Norfolk, VA; William Henderson (Tykeisha Henderson) of Parksley, VA. Grandchildren: Nooriyana Bell, Marhari Henderson-Bell and Malcolm Dykes. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and friends, and other relatives, too many to name.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her father Theodore Roosevelt Bailey of Keller, VA., aunt; Julia Wise of Newark, DE. mother in law; Sylvia Henderson, father in law; Johnny Henderson, Sr. and sister-in law; Sylvia Denise Henderson all of Cape Charles, VA
