Orpin, Carol S.Carole S. Orpin, age 83, a Manitowoc resident, died Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.She was born on October 4, 1933 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Edward and Marcella (Degenhardt) Duzeske. Carole was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On June 29, 1979 she married Robert Orpin at Laguna Beach, CA. He preceded her in death on May 5, 2009. Carole was a system analyst for Sully Miller Construction in Long Beach, CA for many years, retiring in 1979.Survivors include a niece: Debra (Sonny) Stringer, Whittier, CA.; a nephew: Randy (Carissa) Carl, Desert Hot Springs, CA.; two step sons: Robert Orpin, St. George, UT., Richard & Jill Orpin, Kingman, AZ.; one step granddaughter: Amie Orpin; one step great granddaughter: Madisyn Orpin; and two great nieces: Dana Stringer and Marie Carl. She was also preceded in death by one sister and brother-in-law: Jacquelyn and Kenneth Carl and one great nephew: Ryan Stringer.Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 21, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand (1416 Grand Avenue) Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev.
