Carl E. Thomas1929 - 2013Carl Thomas, 84, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday June 18, 2013, at Aurora Medical Center. Carl was born on June 13, 1929, in Frostburg, Md., the son of the late Samuel and Fern (Wilson) Thomas. He was educated in the schools of Frostburg. He was a member of the U.S. Marines. He married Sharon Dewitt on April 13, 1957, in Indiana. Carl was employed as a security guard at AMC/Chrysler for many years. His hobbies included going to casinos, eating out with friends, swimming, watching wrestling, and spending time with family and friends. Carl enjoyed his many friends at Cracker Barrel and Home Run restaurants.Survivors include his children, Carla Camara of South Carolina, Kim (Jay) Imroth of Kenosha; grandchildren, Jami and Tami; and great grandchildren, Jalen and Julian; two brothers, Samuel (Emma Jean) Thomas of Michigan and George (Pat) Thomas of Maryland, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday June 21, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at Kenosha Funeral Services. Private burial Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
