Carl LarabeeLANCASTER: Carl E. Larabee, 94, passed away surrounded by family and friends on Thursday October 4, 2012 at the Pickering House. Carl was born on November 6, 1917 in Nelsonville, Ohio to the late William and Lizzy (Evans) Larabee. He is survived by daughter, Sandy Waugh of Lancaster; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Ginny Larabee of St. Louis, Mo; son-in-law, Paul (Sherry) Rarey of London; grandchildren, Jeff (Pam) Blosser, Suzy (Trent) Thorson, Amy (Adam) Long, Tammy Workman, Sherrie Waugh, Shawn (John) Borisenkos, Angie (Doug) Havekost, Carla (Paul) Theiss, Kathy (Fred) Boerner and Vicky (Terry) Cordle; 28 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lillie V. Larabee; daughter, Rosalee Rarey; great-grandchild, Riley Borisenkos; son-in-law, Ken Waugh; 5 brothers and 2 sisters.Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Halteman-Fett-Dyer Funeral Home with Rev. Robert McDowell officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Rose Cemetery. Friends may visit from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
