Carl Albert JanssenSeptember 28, 1923 - April 23, 2015Carl Albert Janssen, 91, of Caldwell, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015. Carl was born on September 28, 1923 to Henry & Sena Janssen in Minnesota.Carl farmed in Minnesota and Nampa and he liked to play bingo.He is preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Leona Janssen and his son, Harlen Fischer. Siblings: Geneva and Louis.He is survived by his son, Vern (Judi) Fischer, a brother, Orville Janssen, grandchildren, Mike Fischer and Donnie (Corinne) Fischer. Carl is also survived by Donnie's children by marriage: Thomas Udy, Cody Hughes, and Geoffrey Martin. Grandchildren: Fred (Mary) Fischer, Susan (Bob) Jerome, Ariana (Rick) McKee and Lydia (Mike) Blair as well as ten great grandchildren from their side of the family, and a daughter-in-law, Connie (Tim) Wieczorek.Carl's Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 1:00 PM with viewing one hour prior to service at Grace Lutheran Church in Caldwell. Services are under the care of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Concluding Services and burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
