C'Vania Samuel was born in Los Angeles, California on February 16th 2007 to Lani LaToya Samuel (deceased). On November 27, 2007 she began an exciting journey with her Grandfather, Lonnie Samuel, also known as “Papa.” Immediately, she “illuminated” the world with her presence and smile like rays of sunshine. Even as an infant C’Vania was unique and possessed a kindred spirit. Blossoming into a beautiful child – there’s no doubt in her mind or anyone who came in contact with her, that she loved music, reading, exploring knowledge, touched the hearts of people, and most of all, as she would put it, “her Bishop Huggins!”
Although her delicate body faced so many challenges, you’d never know by the way she exuded in her laughter, singing, dancing and playfulness. Just ask Mother Samuel, who had been her spiritual advisor and physical provider. To C’Vania, she was ”Nana-Nana” her “Guardian Angel.”
On Saturday, August 15th, God lifted her out of her Papa’s arms; but her spirit remains in the heart of (1) brother, Ante, (2) sisters, C’Novia and Imani. “Papa” Lonnie Samuel of Los Angeles, grandmother, Gwendolyn Gaines-Grissom of Palmdale. Margo Mayer “Granny”, Auntie Jenise Samuel & Tamara Lake. Great-grandmother, Doris Nile-Thompson (Alex, deceased) of Detroit, Rozell (Lewis, deceased) Gaines and Leola Samuel, “Nana-Nana” of Oxnard. Great-Uncles, Wendell (Tina) Samuel, Aaron Samuel, Rodney Thompson, Keith Gaines and a host of relatives, friends and playmates.
You can to the family or in memory of C'Vania Samuel.
