BrittanyaO.Oyeyipo-Saintil, 57, longtime resident of Miami, passed away on February 7, 2020. She was born January 5, 1963, in Port Au Prince, Haiti to Robert Bement Saintil and Katharine Jane. She moved with her mother and grandparents to Miami when she was two and remained there through her sophomore year at Ponce de Leon High School before moving to Easton, MD, where she graduated from Easton High.
She moved back to Miami several years later where she met her husband Charles while both were working for Traveler’s Insurance Company. They married and raised three daughters living in Cutler Bay, Palmetto Bay and Pinecrest. She earned her AA degree from Miami Dade Community College and assisted her husband at his legal practice in downtown Miami. She was then an accounting professional at Comprehensive Pensions in Coral Gables and American Bankers Insurance Group in Cutler Bay. She and Chuck traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe during their retirement years, often visiting their kids and grandkids. A few years after her husband’s passing in 2011, she moved to East Ridge where she lived until her death.
Brittanya is predeceased by her husband Charles John Oyeyipo, to whom she was married for 34 years. She is survived by her brother William Dunt, daughters Susan, Katharine and Carol, and her seven grandchildren. A Memorial Gathering will take place from 6-8 PM Thursday, February 13 with a Memorial Service beginning at 6:30PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
