Bonnie F. Klucking, 80, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away Sunday October 25th, 2009 surrounded by family. Bonnie was born on October 7, 1929 to Walter and Eva Feehan in Winona, Minnesota. She later moved to Gaylord, Minnesota where her father owned a grain elevator and later a trucking company. While in Gaylord, Bonnie met her future husband, Edward "Bud" Klucking. After high school, Bonnie attended Gustavus Adolphus University in St. Peter, Minnesota and graduated with a degree in Music, and in 1952 she and Bud were married in Gaylord. Bonnie taught music at a Junior High in an inner city school in St. Paul, and then moved to Berkeley California and taught in Oakland while Bud completed his education. In 1960 they moved to Ellensburg after Bud accepted a teaching position at CWSC, and Bonnie resumed teaching at Morgan Junior High until she stopped working to raise her four children. Later in life, Bonnie taught ESL and held several administrative support positions at the University until retirement in 1995. After retirement, Bonnie volunteered for several local organizations. Bonnie and Bud traveled extensively, and she was fluent in German and Spanish. Wherever she went, Bonnie enjoyed meeting new people and developing lifelong friendships. She is preceded in death by her parents Walter & Eva Feehan, her step-mother Florence Feehan, her brother Chester Feehan and her sister Mary Westendorf. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bud Klucking, her four children Philip Klucking, Lisa Pott (Todd), Joel Klucking (Tabitha), and Sara Klucking, and five grandchildren who she cherished. A gathering to celebrate Bonnie's life will be announced at a later date, open to all friends and family who were blessed to know her.
