Bonnie Emerson1940 - 2014Bonnie Emerson, 73, of Kenosha passed away on Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, at UHS-St. Catherines.Bonnie was born on Dec. 20, 1940, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Milton and Lorraine (Smith) Kruse. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Bonnie married John H. Emerson on Aug. 26, 1961, in Kenosha; they later divorced. After retiring from Chase Bank and while always keeping her Wednesday Night Family dinners tradition, she kept even busier keeping a meticulous yard and waitressing. Survivors include her children, Debbie (Mark) Greenwood, Laurie OGuin, John Emerson (Kaela), Bob Emerson, Amy (Don) Shilka, Tricia (Scott) Heeter, Jens (Ann) Emerson; sisters, Jeri Kruse, Pat (Ron) Christensen, Kathy Kruse; 18 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Bonnie was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Diane Emerson, and former husband, John Emerson.Funeral services were private.
