Mr. Bob Tarlton, 91, passed away Wednesday the 18th of January, 2017 at Hospice House of Union County. He was born on December the 5th, 1925 to the late Will and Jessie Griffin Tarlton. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII. He was the co-founder of Rebel Lumber Company and was involved in the timber business all his life. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his six siblings: Roy Tarlton, Jack Tarlton, Leon Tarlton, Frank Tarlton, Pat Helms and Margaret Hardwick.Graveside Services will be 11am Saturday the 21st of January, 2017 at the Marshville City Cemetery. Visitation will be 6pm-7:30pm Friday the 20th of January at Morgan & Son Funeral Home.He is survived by his wife of 72 years Mrs. Billie P. Tarlton. One daughter Mrs. Judy Little of Marshville. His grandchildren: Mr. Scott Little and Mrs. Marty Little McEwen and her husband Steve all of Marshville. He is also survived by his three great-grandchildren: Kayla Little, Jacob McEwen and Madison Little. Bob is also survived by one brother Rev.
