Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Carris Family Funeral Home in Perry. Visitation will be on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. with family present to greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home in Perry. Burial will be in the Dallas Township Cemetery at Dawson, IA. Memorials will be given to the family and may be left at the Carris Family Funeral Home. He attended the Perry Schools graduating with the class of 1969. Following graduation, he served his country in the United States Navy in Vietnam. He worked at Rowley Masonic Community as maintenance supervisor for many years. He was a member of the New Day Assembly of God.He was preceded in death by his parents, Billie and Mary Weddle, wife Suzy Weddle and a son, Christopher Weddle.He is survived by his children, Robert (Holly) Weddle, Pinellas Park, FL and Chad Barcellos, Des Moines, IA, grandchildren, Brandon, Ashley, Brittany, Alexander, Antonio and Christopher, siblings, Susan (Dale) Higgins, Grand Junction, IA, Joni McAllister, Ames, IA, Carol (Terry Kenan) Tunink, Grand Junction, IA, Kevin Weddle, Nevada, IA and Marsha (Dennis Moranville) Thompson, Grand Junction, IA, and sisters-in-law, Carol (Scott) Mckee, Bouton, IA and Cindy Kelley, Woodward.
