Billy V. CollinsMANSFIELD: Billy V. Collins, 68, of Mansfield, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017, following a lengthy illness.Billy was born on February 20, 1949, in Dayton, to Victor and Marie (Walters) Collins. He loved his family and friends, and had a special fondness for children. He was known for his big heart, and was always helping others. He enjoyed collecting coins, guns, and knives.He married Donna (Williams) Collins on August 15, 1969, and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, Billy V. (Brenda) Collins and Aaron D. (Brenda) Collins, both of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Mikhayla Collins, Cheyenne Collins, Kenneth Harris, and Josh (Sarah) Madden; two great-grandchildren and one expected in June, Brayden Madden and Kinsley Madden; six siblings, Ethel Morris, Glenna Hershberger, Larry (Vicky) Collins, and Charles Michael Armand, all of Mansfield, Lucille (Alan) Brinegar of Lodi, and Gary (Anita) Collins of Crestline; very special cousins, Bob and Dorothy Houseman; mother-in-law Aileen Williams of Mansfield; seven brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Linda Brady and Jeffrey Williams both of Mansfield, Joyce Binion and Danny (Karen) Williams both of Crestline, Randy Dwight Williams and Anita (Jeffrey) O'Brian both of Lexington, and Marquetta (Denzel) Fox of Shelby; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friend, Lloyd Wood.Billy was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; two siblings, Bobby Collins and Alleen (James) Head; father-in-law, Randolph Williams; and brother-in-law, John Brady.Calling hours will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Abundant Life Tabernacle, 1085 Bedford Blvd, Ontario, OH 44906.
