Miller, Beverly Jean (Kinney) Beverly Jean Miller was born on the family farm February 28, 1939 to Forrest and Edna Kinney in Temperance, Michigan. She passed away peacefully April 11, 2017 in Glendale, AZ after living a life full of love, gentleness, and service to others, especially her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Retha Davey and her loving husband of over 50 years, Terry Raymond Miller. Beverly was the fifth of seven children and grew up in the knowledge of Christ and the warmth of a close family. She met her future husband in the marching band of Bedford High School, and they were married January 1, 1959. A brief time studying at Huntington College (IN) was followed by a long and fruitful life together in Temperance, MI and later in Phoenix and Glendale, AZ. Together they raised four children, Bonita Wheelock (David), Ted (Jill), Todd (Lori), and Betty Ellington (Barry). Her fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren were the joy of her life and she always rejoiced when another child was born to her family. In addition to her immediate family listed above, Beverly is survived by her brothers Howard (Temperance, MI), Earl (Muskegon, MI) and Vern (Ft. Wayne, IN) Kinney and sisters Lois Wehner and Darlene Hakeos of (Ida, MI). Beverly enjoyed travel and camping with her family and relished the beauty of God's creation. But she most enjoyed spending time with family, and excelled at Scrabble, Uno, Rook, and any games that brought people together. She loved to bake and cook large family dinners. She was a devout Christian and served faithfully in several Baptist Churches throughout her life. Visitation is on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Hansen Chapel, 8314 N. 7th Street, Phoenix 85020.
