Betty L. Thomson1940 - 2013Betty L. Thomson, 73, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully from Leukemia, surrounded by her loving family, Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, at her residence.She was born on Jan. 4, 1940. to the late Victor and Elizabeth (Chapman) Konopacki in Stevens Point. She was educated in the schools of Stevens Points.On June 13, 1959, she married Robert Thomson at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Stevens Point. He preceded her in death on Aug. 15, 1992.Betty worked in the file room at Aurora Medical Center for a few years and was a homemaker.Betty was a member of St. Anthonys Catholic Church.Betty enjoyed sewing, playing bingo, reading and traveling. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.Betty is survived by her loving children, William (Raeellen) Thomson and Patricia (Lou) Molitor, both of Kenosha; her siblings, Richard Dick Konopacki of Stevens Point, Victor Bud (Nancy) Konopacki of Stevens Point, Jacci (Larry) Wiza of Rosholt, Wis., Tom Konopacki of Florida and Mary Kay Hackl of Stevens Point; her grandchildren, Greg (Melissa) Thomson, Corey Thomson, Samantha Molitor, Amanda McGovern and Andrew Molitor and her great grandchildren, Airiana White, Destiny White and Jaylen McGovern.She is preceded in death by her sister, Nancy and brother-in-law, Ron Pryzbylski.A Memorial Mass for Betty will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14th at 12 (Noon) at St. Anthonys Catholic Church (5100 22nd Ave.). Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of Mass. Memorials would be appreciated to St. Judes Childrens Hospital or to Hospice Alliance.The family would like to thank Hospice Alliance, Amanda McGovern, Dr. R.
