Betty Jean Burts, age 68 of Cleveland, OH, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019. She was born to the union of Ida and Norman Burts (both deceased). Betty was the youngest of nine siblings. 

Betty beleived in God and prayer and accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior.

Betty attended Susan Miller Dorsey High Schoool in Los Angelos, CA. She worked for Vila St. Ana Marie nursing facility in Beachwood, OH for many years.

Betty loved her family, and tried her best to keep in touch with everyone. She kept a calendar with everyone's birthday so that she was sure to give you a call. She loved to care for others and help as much as she could. She loved to share her unique laughter with everyone.

In 2005  Betty was united in marriage to Vance Garrett. 

She leaves to cherish her memories: Husband: Vance Garrett; Daughters: L'Tanya Bonnor (Larry), Sheria Boddie; Nine grandchildren: Ciara, Laketa, Christopher, Eddy, Eric, Mercedes, Najee, Dimari, and L'Niah; Fifthteen great-grandchildren: David, Brianna, Eddy, Vivica, K'Myah, Karlos, Sheria, Ja'Siah, Torrance, Joy, Imani, Layla, Sh'Niya, Terri, and Tariq. Sister: Jacqueline Griffin; Brother: Cornell Burts (Rose); along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom she loved dearly.
