Bernice A. HayesAVONDALE: Bernice A. Hayes, 73, of Zanesville, died at 1:46 p.m. Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. She was born on May 15, 1941 in Avondale a daughter of the late Leo and Bernice Bash. She retired from United Technology. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Kenneth E. Hayes; eight children, Wilma Jean Hayes, Norma (Bob) Mock, Marcus J. Hayes, Brian (Margie) Hayes, Berniece (Bill) Minner, Berndetta Paxson (Mark Church), Kendra (Shane) Abbott, and Tina (Telly) Morrison; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Markeeta Thomas and Belinda Baker; two brothers, Frank Bash and Harold Bash; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by seven siblings and one granddaughter, Mia Noel Paxson.Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon.
