Berneda Fokken Fuhrman98, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away on September 6, 2016 in Tipton, Indiana. She was born on June 15, 1918 in Plover, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Gertrude Broadwell. She enjoyed volunteering at the church, helping others, crafts, crocheting and reading.She is survived by her children, Virginia and Charles Saltzman, Ronald Fokken and Julia and Guy Yelverton, Jr.; twelve grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, husbands, Edward Fokken and William Fuhrman; son, George Fokken and daughter-in-law Roberta Fokken.Visitation will be Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan-Broad Ripple. Services will be Monday, September 12, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Flanner and Buchanan-Broad Ripple.
