BERNADINE J. WOODIN, 80 MILLEDGEVILLE - Bernadine J. Woodin, 80 of Milledgeville died Friday August 14, 2015 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling. She was born on June 6, 1935 in Sterling, the daughter of Ross and Edna (Stern) Wolf. She married Archie W. Woodin on March 2, 1956 in Sterling. Bernadine had worked for 29 years at Elkay in Lanark and Savanna, IL., before retiring. She was a member of Hope United Methodist Church, Chadwick. Survivors include her husband, Archie; 2 daughters: Leola J. (Dennis) Mowry of Rockton, IL., and Linda L. (Larry) Alexander of Chadwick; 2 sons: Walter O. Woodin of Bettendorf, IA., and Keith "Woody" Woodin of Lanark; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 son, Calvin; 1 daughter Grace; her brother Marvin Wolf and 1 grand daughter Nichole. Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 18, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the McDonald Funeral Home in Milledgeville. The funeral will follow on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Hope United Methodist Church in Chadwick, with the Reverend Mary Bohall officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at South Elkhorn Cemetery, Milledgeville. Memorials to Hope United Methodist Church, Chadwick.
