Benjamin S. Cook was born to Berma Mabon and Charles Bearden in Los Angeles California. While growing up,  Ben attended Hooper ave,  Carver jr High and Jefferson High School. One of Bens passions was to travel. One place he held deep in his heart was Brenham, Texas. It was in Brenham that he developed his extended family and friends,  and always talked about returning one day. Ben was not only a beloved son,  but a brother,  uncle, great uncle,  and cousin. He was a hell of a friend to all that knew him. He loved telling stories of his past. Sports and news was his go to along with his beer. He leaves to morn his mother Berma Mabon,  sister Lavennia Bearden, nieces Brandy, Neffie, Karyn, Kizzy, Crystal, Barbara, Terry , and nephews Demetrius and Israel. He has great nieces and nephews and counless family and friends. He joined in death his father Charles Bearden, brother Jay Bearden, and sisters Lawanda Bearden and LaQuita Grinner.

I know he would like to thank those who were there by his side every step of the way. To Lavennia Bearden,  Barbara,  Demetrius , Demetrius jr,  Demetria, Eric and his side kick Keymiah,  Thank you guys for giving him the love and comfort he needed as God prepared and took his angel home. I know he is smiling down upon you.
