Speed Blessinger, Becky,Becky Fisher Blessinger, 77, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Blessinger was born on August 21, 1939 to the late Charles and Louise Fisher in Speed, Indiana. She was a member of St. John Paul II Catholic Church (St. Paul Campus). Mrs. Blessinger retired from West Clark Community Schools where she worked as a School Bus Aid. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Blessinger and her brother Thomas Fisher. Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Diana (Gary) Gilpin of Louisville, Kentucky and Jill (Delbert) Swartz of Speed, and her sister, Virginia (Mickey) Webber, also of Speed. She also leaves behind three grandchildren, Maggie Craig, Casi Gilpin, Olivia Swartz and three great- grandchildren, Anna Swartz, Isabelle Heishman, and Khloe Craig, and also many nieces , nephews, and cousins.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 3, 2017 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Silver Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-8 p.m.. and on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Online condolences can be made at www.garrfuneralservice.com
