KENDALLVILLE — Barbara Ann Stollar, age 69, of Kendallville, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at the Kendallville Manor Healthcare Center. She was born on January 25, 1947 in Kendallville, Indiana, to the late Ernest Vance and Doris Loretta (Brown) Hart. She graduated from Kendallville High School in 1965. Barbara was employed for 38 years at Dexter Axle in Albion and also worked at the Dollar General Store in Kendallville for 11 years. Survivors include her husband, John Stollar of Kendallville; a daughter, Lori and Richard Recker of Albion; a son, John and Jill Stollar of LaGrange; eight grandchildren, Trisha (Joe) Lee, Riley Smith, Shaylynn Stollar, Shantel Stollar, Kayli Stollar, Marissa, Brooklynn and Skyler; a sister, Diana and Steve DePew of Kendallville; and two brothers, Neal and Karla Hart of Kendallville and Dwight "Buddy" Hart of Kendallville. She was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Kyra Aspen. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 2-6 p.m. at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Hite Funeral Home with an hour of calling prior to the service. Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Doug Keenan and Pastor Mark Ober. Memorial donations may be made to the Noble County Humane Shelter or Apple Tree Soup Kitchen of Kendallville.
