LEOWBarbara (Woodbury) Barbara (Woodbury) Leow, 81 years, of Temperance, MI, peacefully passed away at ProMedica Ebeid Hospice Residence, on Thursday, December 8, 2016. Barbara was born on April 3, 1935, to Herbert and Jessie (Gunter) Woodbury, in Toledo. She was a homemaker and enjoyed participating in various clubs and organizations. On June 6, 1953, she married George Leow in St. Catherine's Catholic Church, in Toledo.Barb was an avid antique collector, and she enjoyed going to sales and attending auctions. Over the years, she owned various antique booths in both Ohio and Michigan. This was a hobby she shared with her husband, along with traveling, gardening, and spending time with friends and family. In recent years, Barb was very active with her “Circle of Friends” group. Barb was devoted to and received immense happiness in spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, George; son, James Leow; and sister, Sandra Seretsky. Surviving are sister, Marge (Jack) Stackpole; daughters, Mary Steven (Craig Schubert), Lynn (Jeffery) Jones; son, Thomas Leow; grandchildren, Amy (Adam) Daunhauer, Kelly (Craig) Goodelle, Krista (Brian) Hayward, Ryan (Jeannie) Jones, Elizabeth Leow, Amber Leow, Jimmy Leow, and 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, December 12, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in Urbanski's Bedford Funeral Chapel, 8300 Lewis Avenue, Temperance, MI where the Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.The family would like to recognize and give their thanks to Thomas Leow for providing care for his mother during the later years of her life.
