She was born on March 15, 1962 in Newark.Barbara's wishes were to have her body donated to The Ohio State University. A memorial service will be held at a later date.She is survived by her son, Brent (Jennifer) Nelson; daughter, Melissa Nelson; 6 grandchildren; 2 brothers; 1 sister and many nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary E. Fowler; and grandparents, Fred and Madeline Tompkins.Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
