Barbara Ann Devlin, 84, of Brush, formerly of the Idalia area, died Friday, October 28, 2016 at Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center, Brush. Barbara was born on September 9, 1932 in Denver, Colorado. They continued to farm the Bernard Devlin homestead southeast of Idalia until 1993 when Barbara and Gene retired to Las Vegas, their favorite vacation spot. They lived in Las Vegas until 2013 when they returned to Colorado and resided at Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. Barbara was a faithful member of the Catholic Church, exemplified by her outward love, devotion, and care of her family. She loved traveling, dressing up, and dancing with Gene. She spent many years as a bridal consultant and was a practicing Realtor while living in Las Vegas. Barbara surrounded herself with beauty; she loved art and painting with oils, loved flowers and enjoyed receiving and growing them, and she most enjoyed being with people, laughing and living life.
