Beatriz Margarita Gomez, 69, of Calexico, CA passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2016. Beatriz was born on February 1, 1947 in Mexicali B.C., MX. She married David D. Gomez on July 25, 1970 in Calexico, CA. She made Calexico her home since 1970. She worked at the Calexico Wal-Mart for 24 years. She was the most loving and caring person. She devoted her life to her family. She was very patriotic; especially because she had two sons in the military as well as her husband a Vietnam Veteran. She became a U.S. citizen in 2000. She is survived by her husband, David D. Gomez; sons, David Gomez Jr., Jaime Gomez, Richy Gomez and Alex Gomez; grandchildren, Richy Gomez Jr., Jaime Gomez Jr., Clarissa Gomez, Sebastian Gomez, Christopher Gomez, David Gomez III, Frances Gomez, Danielle Gomez, Andrew Gomez and Lucianna Bea Gomez; daughters-in-law, Cinthia Gomez, Evelyn Gomez, Claudia Nunez and sister Mary Lou Estrada and Patricia Ortiz. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 8 to 10 a.m. with service being held from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Calexico, CA.
