ARTHUR JAMES STUBBINGSArthur James Stubbings died on Saturday, May 20, 2017. He was predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Lucille, who died in 2013 as well as two brothers and a sister. Art is survived by one son, Donald, who lives in Edinburgh, Scotland; nephew Bob and his wife Donna, niece Glenda and several other nieces and nephews. Arthur was born on August 31, 1924 at Indian Head and grew up in Sintaluta. He was deployed with the army between 1943 and 1946, and re-joined in August of 1954.Arthur was posted to Egypt during 1956 to 1957 with the UNEF, during the Suez Crisis. He retired as a Sargent in August 1974 at the age of 50.He took his Grade 12 Diploma and then worked at the University of Regina until he retired again, aged 65. He was much loved and will be missed.Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina.
