Derenne, ArleneArlene E. Derenne, 87, of Luxemburg passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017. Arlene was born on December 15, 1929 in Rosiere, Wisconsin to the late Orbie and Jennie (Vandertie) Everard. On September 13, 1950 she married Richard H. Derenne in Rosiere; they were privileged to spend over 66 years together as husband and wife. Arlene and Richard farmed all their working life on the home farm in Duvall. Arlene and Richard retired from farming in 1990 and moved to Luxemburg in 1992. In addition to farming, Arlene enjoyed baking, doing her crafts, gardening, helping others, playing cards with friends and relatives and going on trips. Arlene is survived by her two sons, Dennis (Diane) Derenne, Duvall; Danny (Joyce) Derenne, Green Bay; four grandchildren, Matt (Lori), Jesse (Katie), Nathan and Marissa; five great-grandchildren, Samantha, Tyler, Brooke, Natalie and Shelby; two sisters, Elaine Collins, Dyckesville, and Lorraine (Erwin) LaLuzerne, Algoma; many nieces and nephews.Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; one infant son; her parents; her father in law and mother in law, Given and Mary Derenne; one sister, Irene Everard; and two sisters in law and three brothers in law, Eunice (Raymond) Parins, Laura (Elmer) Jandrin, Harold Collins.Friends may call at the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG 2:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday, November 05, 2017. Prayer service will be held at 5:00 pm on Sunday with Pat Ratajczak. Visitation will continue on Monday, November 06, 2017 between 9:30 and 10:45 am at St. Peter Church, Lincoln. Funeral 11:00 am at the church on Monday with Rev. Edward Looney officiating. Burial in St. Francis DuPaul Cemetery, Duvall.Arlene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. Arlene fought a courageous battle against cancer, and never lost her keen sense of humor. The family would like to express their gratitude for the care given Arlene by Dr Gautam and his staff, and a special thank you to the staff at Autumn's Promise.
