Mr. Anwar Sadat, of Mit Abu al-Kum, Egypt, born on December 25, 1918 in Mit Abu al-Kum, Egypt, to the late Sit Al-Berain and the late Anwar Mohamed El Sadat, passed away at age 62 on October 6, 1981 in Cairo, Egypt. He graduated from Egyptian Military Academy in 1938 and Alexandria University. He was the President (Non-US). Anwar was married to the late Eqbal Afifi; Ehsan Madi. He was preceded in death by his brother, Atef El Sadat. Anwar is survived by his son, Gamal Sadat; daughters, Ruqayyah Sadat, Lubna Sadat, Lubna Sadat, Noha Sadat, and Jihan Sadat; and child, Rawya Sadat. Friends and family can attend the visitation, officiated by Anubis Abboud, from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.
