Annette Brown, 93, of Freeport, IL, formerly of Cicero, IL, passed away on Tuesday December 13, 2016. She was born on June 26, 1923 in Chicago, IL, to Ann and Michael Gole. She married John Brown on July 29, 1946. Annette was a member of St. Thomas Church and the American Legion. Survivors include her four children, Jack (Vicki) Brown, Joann (Bill) Lincks, Jim (Sue) Brown, Bob (Laura) Brown, grandchildren Deanna Brown, Jennifer (Jamie) Webb, Michelle (Bob) Head, Aaron (Kate) Brown, Sara Brown, Patrick Brown, Kelly Brown, Amy Brown, Jen Brown, and 7 great-grandchildren; her two sisters Mary (the late Thomas) Murphy and Patricia (the late Vic) Scripel. She is preceded in death by John Brown, Betty (the late Allen) Speechley, and Betty Williams (Gole). Service will be held on Saturday December 17, 2016 at 12 noon, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Freeport. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd, Freeport, IL. Burial will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
