Anna Christine Bodine Hill, 96, of the Mt. Zion community of Washington County, passed away at 8:09 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at her home.A native of Washington County, she was born on, Feb. 11, 1921, to the late Harvey Isaac "Dick" and Artie Grisgby Bodine.She was a lifelong member of the Mt. Zion United Maethodist Church where she served as the church pianist and in many other positions over the years. She was a retired employee of the former Spalding & Eddleman Hardware Store of Springfield.Preceding her in death was her husband, Frank "Junior" Hill on Oct. 21, 2012, and her brother, Joe Hamilton Bodine on Sept. 16, 2010.Survivors include two nephews, Sammy Bodine of Glasgow and Jimmy Bodine of Mt. Zion; a niece, Ann Rothfuss (Scott) of Hamilton, Ohio; four great nephews and three great nieces.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 15, at Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John Loper, pastor of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, officiating.Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.Serving as pallbearers will be David Bodine, Sam Bodine, Scott Rothfuss, Tim Grigsby, Craig Grigsby and Adolfo Botello.Carey & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
