Hoppe, AnnAnn Hoppe (nee Nett), of Random Lake, formerly of Fredonia, passed away during the early morning of Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. She was 74 years old. Ann was born on May 29th, 1942 in Fond du Lac Township, WI. She was the daughter of Arnold Nett Sr. and Lucille Faul Nett.Ann graduated from Fond du Lac High School in 1960. On October 27, 1962, she married Bernie Hoppe at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mount Calvary, WI. They lived in New Ulm, MN and Milwaukee before moving to Fredonia in 1970.Ann worked many jobs throughout her life including at Oak Park Pharmaceuticals in Fredonia, Sprague Electric in Grafton and St. Alphonsus Hospital in Port Washington. She retired from St. Joseph Hospital in West Bend in 2004.Ann was a member of Divine Savior Parish in Fredonia. She was a diehard baseball fan and could not be bothered when her beloved Brewers were on TV. She also enjoyed traveling and went on many family trips throughout the country. Ann is survived by her three sons, Frank (Beth) of Waunakee, John (Karen) of Greenville and Thomas of Fredonia. She is further survived by four grandchildren; Madison, Gretchen, Adam and Kristen; two sisters, Pat (Fred) Thuecks of North Fond du Lac and Sharon Nett of Fond du Lac; two brothers, Jim (Rosemary) of Pocatello, ID and Jerry Nett of Fond du Lac; two brothers-in-law, Marvin Hoppe of Fredonia and Lee Hoppe of Random Lake; two sisters-in-law, Diane Nett of Malone and Betty Nett of New Holstein; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bernie; brothers, Arnold Jr., John and Joe Nett; sister, Kathleen Klensch and sisters-in-law, Emily Fraley and Rose Hoppe.A Prayer Service will be held at 6:30PM on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Divine Savior Parish - Holy Cross Chapel in Holy Cross with Pastoral Associate Deb Hamm presiding. Visitation will be at the CHURCH from 4:30PM until the time of service.
