Montone, Ann C. 73, of Cave Creek, Arizona passed away on February 11, 2017. Ann was born on February 15, 1943 in Potsdam, New York. She was united in marriage with Frank J. Montone on September 15, 1963. They drove to Bozeman, Montana for Frank to complete his requirements to graduate from MSU, preceded by a honeymoon in Yellowstone Park. Then back to New York where Frank went into sales and was eventually transferred to the Chicago area. Ann was kept busy with their three children: Frank, Theresa and Christine. Ann loved retail, and worked in the children's department of a local department store in Crystal Lake, IL, her home town. They talked about starting their own business and in 1973 they started a custom window treatment business and Ann joined her husband Frank full time a year later. They missed the West and after a couple of vacations in Arizona decided to move to the Phoenix area and open their business there; which they did in 1995. Together they were a great team and in 2016 they retired and planned to travel to visit friends and family. Ann is survived by her husband Frank; children: Frank, Theresa and Christine; grandchildren: Dominick, Adriana, Alyssa and Gary; brother Conrad Dumers and sister Gladys Kremers.
