Alyssa Mendoza, 21, of San Antonio, Texas, passed Saturday, January 05, 2019. Alyssa was born August 24, 1997. Alyssa a loving daughter, sister, and friend to many died unexpectedly late Saturday evening. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Alyssa always loving and caring never showed any sign of sadness to anyone. She always had that beautiful smile on her face and was the life of the room. Loving and caring for everyone who came into her life. Alyssa was a loving and compassionate person who loved to be silly. She had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul.
Alyssa loved family game nights, sitting outside, and going to the lake. She enjoyed camping, sitting by the fire with her friends and family laughing and telling stories.
The relationship she had with her brother, David, was not like any other. Alyssa was a wonderful big sister that taught him a lot and she always had his back. When her brother would see her, his whole face would light up and the time would just be lost.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her family invites her friends and those lives she touched to join them for a Memorial Service, officiated by Rev. Garrett Vickrey, to be held on January 11, 2019, 11:00 a.m., at Woodland Baptist Church, 15315 Huebner Rd. in San Antonio.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts be made to the Ecumenical Center for Religion and Health.
You can to the family or in memory of Alyssa Mendoza.
