Allene James, 86Allene James, 86, of Elizabeth, Arkansas was born on January 15, 1930, in Elizabeth, Arkansas daughter of Robert E. and Gracie L. (Shoemate) Stephens. She departed this life on November 13, 2016 at her home in Elizabeth, Arkansas.Allene was married to Bobbie Lee James on May 6, 1951 at Viola, Arkansas and to this union four children were born. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother,great grandmother, and friend. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Elizabeth Church of Christ. She is survived by son, Sam James and wife Charlotte of Doniphan, Missouri; three daughters, Debbie Scales and husband Dan of Whiteland, Indiana , Pam Estes and husband Jim of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Joni Bryson and husband Keith of Paragould, Arkansas; four sisters, Winifred Crotts of Byron, Arkansas, Betty James and husband Jake of Elizabeth, Arkansas, Pat Robbins and husband Vernon "Cotton" of Elizabeth, Arkansas, and Carol Richardson and husband Kenneth of Mountain Home, Arkansas; 9 grandchildren, Jason Estes, Lara Rogers, Justin Estes, Ryan Scales, Joshua James, Jessica Hunt, Alison Eskew, Christina Parrish, and Jillian Klepzig; 14 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Gracie Stephens; husband, Bobbie Lee James; and two baby sisters. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. Roy Moss officiating. Visitation will be 10:00-12:00 Wednesday, November 16, 2016. Interment will be in the Elizabeth Cemetery in Elizabeth, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Jason Estes, Ryan Scales, Justin Estes, Joshua James, Josh Rogers, Aaron Klepzig, Kasey Hunt, Michael Eskew, and Joshua Parrish.
