Stadler, Allen F.Allen F. Stadler, age 72, of 2516 Fischerville Road, Mishicot, died Wednesday afternoon, September 26, 2012, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center of Manitowoc.Allen was born on December 23, 1939, in Sister Bay, son of the late John and Anna Stadler. He was a 1958 graduate of Gibraltar High School in Fish Creek. On May 1, 1965, Allen was married to Carol M. Essermann at Manitowoc. He worked for over 20 years for the C. Reiss Coal Company in Manitowoc and later worked for the Holmes Oil Company in Manitowoc. In 1978 and for the past 34 years, Allen and Carol bought and operated Hermits-Hideway in Fischerville. In the past, Allen was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. Survivors include his wife: Carol Stadler, Mishicot; one brother and two sisters-in-law: Jim Staddler, Milwaukee; Anita Stadler, Sister Bay; Patricia Essermann, Townsend. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Anna Stadler; one sister and brother-in-law: Lucille (Ray) Utke; one brother: George Staddler; one brother-in-law: Richard Essermann.Allen's wishes were to be cremated with no services. Burial of his cremated remains will take place at the Bailey's Harbor Cemetery. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc is serving the family.
