Thacker, Alice Brown,78, of Crestwood, passed away Saturday, January 7th, 2017 at Norton Brownsboro.She was born on February 15th, 1938 to Alonzo and Ethel Brown in Centerfield. She was retired from Alcatel Canada Wire, where she worked for many years.She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother in law Eddie Morris.She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Joseph Lee Thacker; daughter, Becky Carr (Ron); son, Jeffrey Thacker; sisters, Emma Jean Houser (Roy) and Mary Ann Morris; brother, Alonzo Lee Brown (Lynn); grandchildren, Amberly Simpson (Art Terstage), Allyson Simpson (Justin Scurlock); and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Tuesday 1pm, Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 4-8pm, Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood.
