Alice Pauline MeyerTRIVOLI - Mrs. Alice P. Meyer, 72, of Trivoli, IL, passed away peacefully at 5:30 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2016, at Kindred Hospital in Peoria, IL.Alice was born on February 17, 1944, in Peoria to George and Alice (Frank) Slane. Alice graduated from Brimfield High School in 1962. She met the love of her life, David, at the Peoria Airport. They married in 1989. She worked for over 30 years as a cost accountant for Kress Corp., retiring in 2009.Alice had a great sense of humor. She loved fishing, traveling to see the grandchildren and solving crossword puzzles. She adored her family.Alice leaves to cherish her most precious memories, her loving and devoted husband, David Meyer of Trivoli, IL; grandsons, Seth, Erik and Will Sollenberger of Mukilteo, WA; daughter-in-law, Ann Sollenberger of Mukilteo, WA; stepsons, Michael Meyer of Maquon, IL, and Brad (Melissa) Meyer of Trivoli, IL; step-grandchildren, Kelsey and Gage Meyer of Maquon, IL; sisters, Shirley (Ronald) Sollenberger of Brimfield, IL, and Linda Slane of Clinton, WA; and a brother, George (Mary) Slane of Deadwood, SD.She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Brian Sollenberger; brothers, Lyle and Dwayne Slane; and three nephews.Alice requested no funeral services.
