Riha, Alice M.Alice M. Riha, age 87, formerly of Two Rivers, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at the Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.Alice was born on October 24, 1928, in Two Rivers, a daughter of the late Francis and Rose Rocheleau. On February 26, 1972, she married Eldon Riha. Alice was a pillar of the community. She never met a stranger she didn't befriend. She loved her family with all her heart and soul. She loved to cook, garden, sew and have wonderful dinners with family and friends. She and Eldon enjoyed sharing the love of cars and airplanes and loved going to the Lakeshore Wind Ensemble concerts to see Stephanie play. Alice was always available to a friend in need or family to lean on. She was the best example of a mother and her life was thoroughly enriched by her grandchildren.Survivors include her husband: Eldon Riha; two sons: Terry Thomas and Steve Thomas; a daughter: Linda Thomas; step children: Audrey (John) Sitkawitz and Linda (Donald) Damrow. She is further survived by her grandchildren: Alissa Thomas (Joseph) Travers, Christopher (Bev) Thomas, Stephanie (Jason) Farr, Dawn (Jeremy) Berge and David and Brianna Damrow; her great grandchildren: Aveline, Kennedy, Alexis, Benjamin, Jacob, and Sydney; a sister: Shirlee (Karl) Meyer and a brother: Gary (Kim) Rocheleau.In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son: Brian S. Thomas; and a brother: Alan Rocheleau.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2016, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers.
