Adan "Dan" Vigil, 94, a lifelong resident of Las Vegas, passed away on Monday following an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Saturnino and Juana Lucero Vigil; his beloved grandmother that raised him, Epimenia Garcia; four sisters, Betsey Lammle, Ava Trujillo, Margaret Marquez, and Mary Vigil; two brothers, David and Fred Vigil; and a son-in-law, Tony Trujillo.He is survived by two sons, Adan Vigil Jr of Las Vegas and Anthony Michael Vigil of Albuquerque; two daughters, Martha A. Vigil and Theresa Trujillo both of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.He was born on March 24, 1918 in Las Vegas. He was a World War II Veteran and a former member of San Juan Argonne Post #1547 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was an investigator for the 4th Judicial District Attorney's Office for 16 years. He then worked for the State of New Mexico as a liquor and gas inspector. His hobbies included fishing and hunting. A lifelong Catholic, he attended Our Lady of Sorrows Church.Cremation has taken place and services will be held today (Friday) from Our Lady of Sorrows Church beginning with a rosary at 9 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. The interment will follow in Mt.
