Adam William Morowski of Tawas City passed away on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011 at Tawas St. Joseph Hospital in Tawas City, age 36 years. Adam was born on Aug. 18, 1975 in Detroit to Gene and Irene (nee McLott) Morowski. In his younger years, he played on baseball teams in the Detroit area. Adam graduated from East Detroit High School in East Pointe in the Class of 1993. He was employed by the Tawas Wal-Mart Company for the past four years, where most recently he was assigned to the MOD Team. He had many interests in his life, however, Adam truly enjoyed fishing, all sports, collecting miniature "Matchbox style" race cars and sports trading cards. He was saved and baptized at VanDyke Baptist Church in Warren when he was seven. Adam married his beloved wife, Tammy Lynn (nee Williams), on May 15, 2010 in Oscoda. Tammy now survives him, along with their beautiful young daughter, Annabell. Adam is also survived by his mother and father, Irene and Gene Morowski of Oscoda; his sister, Laura Morowski of Oscoda; his mother- and father-in-law, Joan and Don Williams of Tawas City; one nephew, Alister Williams; one aunt, Shirley Pietron of Warren; four brothers-in- law, Donald (Tabitha) Williams of Tawas, Jeremy Williams of Tawas, David Williams of Tawas and Joshua Williams of Mt. Pleasant; many cousins; and so many dear friends. Funeral services for Adam are scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 1 p.m. at Buresh Funeral Home in Tawas City. His family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cremation will follow after the funeral service. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider a donation to his family to be used for a college fund for Adam's young daughter.
