It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Wilson on April 7, 2024, in Hartland, Michigan. She was born on January 31, 1938, in Chicago IL to John and Alice Cegielski.

Mary was a beloved wife to Donald Wilson, whom she married in 1957. Together for 66 years, she raised four children: Dawn Lewis (spouse Cris), Deb Wittke, Doreen Zaffer (spouse Charlie), and Donald Wilson (spouse Debbie). Mary was a loving mother who dedicated her life to her family.

Mary was a seamstress, she loved gardening, sewing, crocheting and ceramics. She had a strong love for God and was an active member in her Church.

Mary leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In her memory, let us remember the joy and kindness she brought to those around her. May she rest in peace.

In honor of Mary a memorial service will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church
