It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marquis Taylor, who met his untimely demise on May 4, 2024, at the young age of 34 in Chicago, Illinois.

Born on October 28, 1989, Marquis was the beloved son of Randy Taylor and Haleema Muhammad. He attended Lew Wallace High School, where he was known for his quick wit and infectious laughter.

Although Marquis had no children of his own, he had a talent for bringing joy and laughter to all those around him. He had a knack for telling jokes that could make even the grumpiest of souls crack a smile.

Unfortunately, Marquis met his end due to a tragic gunshot incident. While we mourn his loss, we choose to remember him not for how he left this world, but for the laughter and joy he brought into our lives.

Rest in peace, Marquis. Your quick wit and infectious laughter will be sorely missed.
